HDMI or LVDS to MIPI

MIPI, or Mobile Industry Processor Interface, is a new standard of interfacing between a video input source and the display on mobile devices that is rapidly gaining popularity. Interfacing between other more popular standards of video output, such as LVDS or HDMI, is less easy than it may seem as there are no simple small scale converters or adapters between the two. Even when one can find a converter between the signals that works, they don’t necessarily provide the display in the correct orientation for the target device.

EOL Notices and What They Mean for You

An EOL Notice, or End Of Life notice, means that a panel you’re currently buying is reaching the end of its manufacturing process- after a certain date, this panel will no longer be in production. What does this translate to? No more panels for you to put in your product, and therefore products using that panel can be jeopardized.
